I had a fun shoot at Clark Machine in Baltimore the other day. They wanted some headshots for a website revamp, but they didn't want their photos to look stiff and corporate. These guys are not pushing pencils-- they're doing stuff like fabricating sections for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge!
So instead of photographing everyone against a studio backdrop, we worked outside at their Baltimore City shop with heavy equipment in the background. Unfortunately, one of their employees wasn't able to make it the day of those shoot, and we were working in December with few decent weather days for a reshoot. What to do?
Photoshop to the rescue. A few days later the missing employee came by my studio for a headshot, and later I digitally placed him or her against the background from Clark Machine's shop. Can you tell which photo it is?
