Medical Residency Application Photos

Every year I do lots of medical residency photos. This is one of my favorite headshot assignments, mainly because of all the free advice. "Could you turn slightly to the left? Oh, and I've been having this stabbing pain in my right knee..."

In all seriousness, I love chatting with the brilliant and ambitious young doctors who come through from places like Hopkins and the University of Maryland. And helping them match with the residency of their dreams, even in a tiny way, is also very nice.

In addition to taking a great headshot that matches the requirements of the electronic application, we usually take others photos as well, experimenting with different background and cropping. So once you get your residency and later win "Pediatrician of the Year", you'll have some photos ready for the awards ceremony!
