Now Serving Frederick, Maryland
I'm Bringing the Studio Up the I-270 Corridor

After fifteen years of working primarily in Baltimore and DC, I’m formally adding Frederick County to my service area. The honest reason: I have family in Union Bridge and spend a fair amount of time up that way already, and I was tired of telling Frederick clients “I can come, but it’ll be a haul.”
So now I’m coming. Regularly. The Frederick service area covers the city of Frederick, Mount Airy, New Market, Urbana, Damascus, Westminster, and the central-Maryland I-270 corridor between Frederick and the Columbia/Laurel line. If you’re in or near Frederick County and you need headshots, I can come to you. (Sessions further south into the DC inner suburbs — Germantown, Gaithersburg, Rockville, Bethesda, Silver Spring — include a $150 travel fee due to traffic.)
A few things to know:
The service is on-location. I don’t have a Frederick studio (and don’t plan to). I bring a portable lighting setup to your office, your home, or a quiet outdoor location. I’ve been doing on-location corporate work for years — most of my Baltimore and DC clients book me this way — and the results are indistinguishable from studio work. Sometimes better, depending on what kind of background you want.
Pricing is the same as Baltimore. No travel surcharge for Frederick County or central Maryland. The pricing tiers — Mini at $375, Corporate at $875, Super at $1,375 — are flat across the central-Maryland zone. (Annapolis and the DC metro area add $150 for travel.)
The booking calendar is the same. Book online and pick whatever date works. I’ll confirm the location and any logistics by email.
For Frederick-area businesses thinking about a team headshot day, this is a particularly good time. I’m doing flat-rate Team Day shoots for offices with 10–40 employees — full team photographed in a single day, consistent lighting and visual style across everyone. For offices that have been putting off the headshot refresh because it sounded like a hassle, this is the easy way out.
A few things I’ve shot in Maryland that you can see on the blog: Hopkins graduation portraits, Kittelson and Associates (engineering firm), Knowledge to Practice in Bethesda (medical training), and Peak Management (a typical 20-person office shoot).
If you’re in Frederick and you want to talk through what your team or your business might need, drop me a line. And if you know someone up there who’s been quietly hating their LinkedIn photo for three years, please send them this post. I’ll bring the lights.
