Team Day — Headshots for Your Whole Office in a Single Day

If you’re the person at your company who got assigned to “deal with the headshots,” this page is for you. Most offices procrastinate on this until the photos on the website are visibly out of date. Then someone has to wrangle the schedules, find a photographer, set up a space, and chase down everyone’s selections. It’s a disproportionate amount of work for what should be a simple thing.

Team Day exists to make it simple. One flat rate, one day, one consistent visual style across all your team members, no surprises.

How it works

I arrive at your office in the morning with a portable studio. I set up in a conference room, empty office, or any reasonable space. We agree on a schedule — typically 10–15 minutes per person for groups under 20, or 5–10 minutes per person for larger groups.

Each employee leaves their desk for their scheduled slot, gets photographed, and goes back to work. By end of day, your whole team has been photographed. A day or two later, everyone has access to an online gallery to choose their favorite frame.

If your group is interested, you might want to consider bringing in a hair and makeup artist for the day. It’s optional — plenty of teams skip it without issue — but a few teams have found it helps people feel more comfortable going through the session. I can recommend several great MUAs in the area if you’d like options.

Sessions and booking

Team Day shoots come in half-day and full-day formats — half-day for offices up to 20 people, full-day for groups up to 40. For current pricing, see the Sessions section on the homepage or contact me directly for a quote tailored to your team size.

Custom quotes are available for groups larger than 40, multi-day shoots, shoots that require multiple location stops within a single business, or any other unusual situation. Please email [email protected] to discuss. I’ll work up a custom quote that fits exactly what you need.

Logistics for the person organizing this

A few tips from doing dozens of these:

Schedule it on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Mondays are chaotic and Fridays have absentees.

Send a “what to wear” email to the team a week before. Solid colors, dark to mid-toned, no busy patterns or bright whites. I have a detailed post on this you can forward verbatim.

Build in 10 minutes of buffer between groups. Inevitably someone runs late, someone needs an extra minute with the makeup artist, or someone’s meeting runs over. Buffer time keeps the schedule from collapsing.

Designate one person as the contact for selections. After the shoot, you’ll get an online gallery. Let one person collect everyone’s favorite-image picks and email me the list in a single batch. Saves days of back-and-forth.

Service area

Team Day shoots are available throughout Baltimore, Frederick County, and the DC metropolitan area. By appointment. Booking lead times are typically 4–6 weeks for larger group shoots — book early if you have a website launch or annual report deadline. (Annapolis and DC-area sessions carry a $150 travel fee.)
